VINTAGE KARTING RACE #1
May 6 @ 9:00 am - 4:00 pm
There is a whole subset of go kart racers you may not know about. It is the group labeled ‘Vintage Karters’. Now no jokes here, yes some of us ‘Vintage Karters’ are indeed vintage. But there is an overlap in demographics with current day go karters also. We do three vintage kart events each season. This is the first one of 2018 and the vintage karters are added onto one of our Sunday points events as extra classes. We really enjoy and appreciate our robust group of local vintage karters. Vintage karts are from the late 1950’s up through 1988. If you’re from the era come and watch this, we’ll predict you’ll enjoy. Current day go karters are amazed at how we used to do go karting back in the day. Fun for all, we’ll see you at the track. Oh, and you might want to bring your ear plugs.

All classes + Kid Kart will run the full 16 week/race schedule. Drivers will have three throw outs to use, as 13 races will be counted for season points. If weather keeps us from getting 16 races completed, we'll still use three throw outs. Lowest point days will be dropped if more than 13 races are run. Bonus points cannot be separated from race day points for throw out purposes.
Bonus Points: Racers that participated in the Box Stock or Masters 100 Lapper 10-23-16 will receive 50 bonus points in their 2017 class. Opening day has an extra 100 bonus points. The Red, White and Blue races are double points. The season championship race is also double points.
Rain days will be made up on open Sundays and/or we will run double race days on another scheduled Sunday date.
Race times: Sunday's will remain as they were with a 9 AM registration, 10 AM practice and Noon race times (championship Sunday Oct 2nd has an 8 AM registration).
